IFC 2 will complete the quartet of office buildings around the newly created Trenton Square with the main entrance located along the Esplanade.
This seven-storey office building is characterised by its high-quality and strong commitment to sustainability. Design features including a triple-glazed façade, high efficiency electric heat pumps for heating and cooling and a roof mounted photovoltaic array, which will drive in-use carbon emissions 33% below regulatory requirements.
Water efficiency will be maximised through rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling systems. These systems will reduce reliance on mains water consumption, saving 1.5 million litres per year.
Similar to the neighbouring IFC buildings, IFC 2 boasts exceptional resilience with comprehensive emergency back-up power for the entire building and access to a range of high-speed telecommunication providers.
